BTL Vanquish Me
The Vanquish system employs a non-invasive, contactless technology known as Selective RF (Radio Frequency) to specifically heat adipose tissue based on its electrical resistance, inducing apoptosis, which is the natural cell death process, while leaving the surrounding tissue unaffected. This process leads to the elimination of fat cells.
The outcome is a secure and organic reduction in the layer of adipose tissue. It utilizes patented Selective RF™ technology and enables users to reduce the circumference of the entire abdominal area or both inner and outer thighs. The BTL Vanquish ME system constantly adapts its energy delivery to achieve and maintain even heating of the fat.
Once the fat cells reach the therapeutic temperature, they undergo apoptosis, resulting in cell death. The temperature at which the fat cells are heated is approximately 45 degrees Celsius, while the surrounding tissue remains at around 40 degrees Celsius. This temperature discrepancy arises from the fact that fat cells conduct heat less efficiently than the surrounding tissues, such as the skin and muscles.
How is The Vanquish Treatment Performed?
The patient is positioned in a comfortable manner, and the applicator is positioned over the designated treatment area. The procedure is non-contact, meaning that the device does not make direct contact with the patient. As the treatment commences, the device measures the impedance of the tissue and starts to adjust itself to specifically target the adipose tissue. The healthcare provider overseeing the treatment will continuously monitor the patient’s response and the tuning process throughout the procedure.
